Appointments and Fees

To arrange an appointment:  To arrange an appointment for an initial consultation, please call my office at (310) 826-8889.  If you reach my office voicemail, you should leave your confidential message including telephone numbers and times that I might be able to reach you directly during the day and evening, and I will call you back as soon as is possible.

Session duration and frequency:  If psychotherapy is indicated, sessions are usually scheduled at a minimum of once per week, as the consistency and regularity of sessions is an important part of what allows the process to develop and change to happen.  Sessions are typically 45 minutes duration.

Parent consultations are scheduled as needed.

Payment:  Payment is due at the time of service in the form of check or cash.  My practice is fee for service, and I do not accept insurance payment.  I do, however, provide a monthly statement that you may submit to your insurance carrier for “out of network” provider reimbursement.  At this point in time I do not take credit cards.
